Patient transportation services
These include ground ambulance and tickets for travel on scheduled airlines, to medical or security evacuation by helicopter, jet or even military aircraft.
We can secure wide-bodied aircraft to respond to mass casualty situations and large scale security evacuations.
Dedicated fleet of air ambulances
Where we need to enhance our capability to evacuate critical medical cases, we have invested in a fleet of International SOS air ambulances that function as intensive care units in the sky. These can be immediately deployed and have adult to neonatal and pediatric capability.
Our dedicated air ambulances are equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and are located in Germany, Russia, South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Singapore, China and Papua New Guinea. Combined, their flying range provides evacuation services worldwide.
Aero-medical expertise
We have over 1,000 full-time doctors, nurses, medics and aero-medical specialists. All of our medical crews are advance life support and aviation medicine trained and provide personalised care and assistance.
In all cases, we offer a comprehensive bed-to-bed service that includes commercial stretcher transports or air ambulance with medical escorts, arrangement of ground ambulance transfers and hospital admission. Transportation is just one small part of the total service package we offer.
